Raul Ruiz - Chairman

Raul is the Branch Manager/Bank Officer at Metropolitan National Bank. In his position with Metropolitan, Raul focuses on overseeing the daily branch operations which includes managing customer service, branch personnel and business development for the branch.

Ruiz earned his Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from American InterContinental University out of Atlanta, Georgia. And is currently working on his BBA Degree in Human Resource Management. He is a graduate of William J. Bogan Technical High School in Chicago, IL. Raul serves as the Diversity Chairman for the Northwest Arkansas Human Resources Organization. He also serves as Chairman of the Northwest Arkansas Hispanic Council, is a board member for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Planning Committee, served on the March of Dimes WalkAmerica Committee, has been Past-President of LULAC and is a Charter member of the Optimist Club and Lions Club in Lowell.

His passion for being a role model and mentor for kids and adults shows in his deep involvement in the community in which he lives.

In 2006, Raul received the Al Lopez Award for CommUNITY from Just Communities-NWA. He and his wife, Rosario, have three children; Yescenia (16), Miguel Angel (14) and Merscedez (9).
